Significance of the artwork :

"Let It Go" is a limited edition of an original drawing and is part of the "Dystopia" series. NOIR defines dystopia as a duality between two worlds: the one we idealise but know will never happen, and the one we fear and already live in.

In the "Dystopia" series, the aim is to convey strong and brutal messages to represent this duality, but also to show that we have learned to live with these messages as if they were "normal".

NOIR has chosen to depict characters and to overload their faces with elements that interact with each other to give off powerful emotions, forming a mask.

"Let It Go" represents our habit of desperately trying to hide our failings, pretending that everything is fine and working the way we want it to, when we would all benefit from taking off our masks to show our true emotions and let go.
